Rushlight award recognition
The prestigious Rushlight Awards commended the Zeropex technology in the category for product or service which has achieved the most impressive reduction in its impact on the environment either through its manufacturing process and provision or during its use by the consumer.
This is yet another confirmation of the remarkable impact on the environment for the Zeropex technology.
“I see this as a strong acknowledgement of our positive impact on the environment, and we are especially proud to receive this recognition in such a fierce competition with solutions from all industries”, says CEO of Zeropex, Tor Albert Ersdal.
The Rushlight Awards are a celebration and a promotion of new technology, innovation and best practice across the whole environment spectrum for organisations throughout UK and Ireland. Designed to highlight innovation and the holistic environmental benefit of technologies that are most likely to or are already creating a stir in the market, they are a means of disseminating the successes to support further development.
During the award ceremony the key note speech at the dinner was given by Prof Sir John Beddington, the Government Chief Scientific Adviser.
Prof Sir John Beddington said: “We face a whole raft of global environmental challenges in the 21st century, and we must use natural resources more wisely if we want to mitigate the effects of climate change. That’s why it’s important to celebrate those who are developing technologies to help us live in a more sustainable way.
CEO, Tor Albert Ersdal, commenting on the award ceremony “We see the Rushlight Awards as the most prominent environmental awards in UK, and the award ceremony underlines the strong position United Kingdom has as a developer and marketplace for environmental technologies”.
