The DIFGEN® operates at a high efficiency over a wide range of flows, making the suitable for a wide range of applications including distribution of raw water and treated water, water treatment plants, process plants and other industrial water applications.
The adaptive pressure and flow control and the accurate built-in flow and pressure measurement makes the DIFGEN® ideal for a variety of situations. In addition the system can also be used to pump water when increased flow and pressure is required.
The DIFGEN® provides an extremely predicable and stable electricity generation in comparison to alternative renewable energy sources. It can even be used as an UPS (an uninterruptible power supply). The DIFGEN® can if desired be linked to various power storage systems and is installed with a central control software that interfaces with the water plant’s own control system. Maintenance is very simple; the maintenance procedure takes approximately 6 to 12 hours per year.
Installing the DIFGEN® is very easy, using standard flange connections. In addition the installation footprint is limited and there is minimal interference with existing infrastructure.
