Difgen harvesting energy from cooling water

Zeropex proudly presents the first customer in the power utility sector, Skagerak Energi. The power utility will install a Difgen, the pressure reduction turbine, at a power plant station to replace a pressure reduction valve used to control the pressure on the power plant's cooling water.

A factory acceptance test was successfully completed Thursday September 15. DG18-36 was tested and the performance was according to expectations. The unit will handle about 115 liters per second and 5,2 bars of differential pressure with the electricity delivered to the grid.
